Lekki Wind Farm

Development of Lekki wind farm started on September 2013 initiated by the Nigerian Government, namely the Ministry of Power.

Due to population growth and lack of energy in the Lagos State, the Nigerian Ministry of Power requested to perform feasibility studies for possible wind energy use in Lekki area with further project realization through the tender.

LSG together with PwC provided the best technical and knowledge based solution for a wind farm in this region. Therefore the Ministry of Power granted us the development of an important project as well as new for the country.

The planned location is in the South of Nigeria within Lagos State in the Lekki Coastal Region.

LSG is subcontracted as a lead consultant by PwC Nigeria for the development of a Wind Farm on a suitable onshore site. LSG prepared necessary project development guidelines together with financial projections.
